Browned Butter Cookies

  1. Brown the butter, then allow to cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine brown butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat until mixed together.
  3. Add in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking soda.
  5. Mix half the dry ingredients into the wet until everything comes together. Slowly mix in the remaining dry ingredients.
  6. Refrigerate the cookie dough for at least a half hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F, and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop cookies onto the sheet into balls, and bake for 11 minutes.
