Butter Bread
Makes one loaf, takes about 3 hours
- 300 g Bread Flour
- 200 g Warm Water
- 5 g Salt
- 5 g Dry Yeast
- 28 g Sugar
- 40 g Butter, melted
- Proof yeast with water and sugar. Rest 10 minutes.
- Add flour, hydrate, and rest 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter and salt, mix until smooth, and rest 15 minutes.
- Hand stretch, tighten and shape. Rest 1 hour.
- Punch down dough, shape into loaf pan. Rest 1 hour.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
