Butter Bread

Makes one loaf, takes about 3 hours

  1. Proof yeast with water and sugar. Rest 10 minutes.
  2. Add flour, hydrate, and rest 5 minutes.
  3. Add melted butter and salt, mix until smooth, and rest 15 minutes.
  4. Hand stretch, tighten and shape. Rest 1 hour.
  5. Punch down dough, shape into loaf pan. Rest 1 hour.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven 350°F Bake for 30 min
200 g Water Proof 10 min Hydrate, rest 5 min Mix until smooth, rest 15 min Stretch and shape, rest 1 hr Punch down, shape, rest 1 hr
5 g Yeast
28 g Sugar
300 g Flour
40 g Butter Melt, combine
5 g Salt
