Coffee Cake

Makes one 9×9 sized cake, takes an hour

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. In a stand mixer, cream butter on high speed (about 2 minutes).
  3. Add sugar, beat mixture until pale on high speed (about 3 minutes).
  4. Slowly add eggs in individually, mixing together.
  5. Mix in vanilla and sour cream.
  6. Add flour and baking powder slowly to combine.
  7. Pour batter into baking dish, spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon over surface, swirl around in batter.
  9. Bake for 45–60 minutes.
