Flour Tortillas
Makes 12 taco-sized tortillas, takes 45 minutes
- 364 g All-Purpose Flour
- 219 g Warm Water
- 80 g Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1½ tsp (9 g) Kosher Salt
- ¼ tsp Baking Powder
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and knead for five minutes.
- Split into 2-oz (56 g) dough balls and cover. Let rest for 20 minutes.
- Heat a skillet or cast iron griddle over medium heat (to between 350–400°F).
- Roll each dough ball into a tortilla shape and lay onto cooking surface, 30 seconds each side.
