NOLA French Bread

Takes 2 hours total

  1. Mix the yeast, sugar, and salt into warm water until dissolved.
  2. Add in flour and mix until no dry flour remains. Let rest 20 minutes.
  3. Fold dough over itself until smooth (about 2 minutes). Let rest 1 hour.
  4. Divide dough into loaves (250g each). Refrigerate any loaves you're not cooking now.
  5. Preheat oven to 450°F while dough rests for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake bread for 20 minutes.
