Refried Black Beans
- 2 cans (15oz each) Black Beans
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ½ tsp Ground Cumin
- ½ tsp Mexican Oregano
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- Heat oil in a medium pan.
- Add beans and their liquid to the hot pan, coat in the oil.
- Add spices except for the Mexican oregano, and mix thoroughly.
- Bring to a simmer, and lower heat.
- Add Mexican oregano, and start smashing beans in the pan, stirring until smooth (3–5 min).
- Remove from heat, and stir in butter until melted.
